Attention All N.R.I. People who live all around the world
Starting 1st August 2025 Indian Government made strict rules for following.
(1) if you buying/selling any kind of properties as a NRI person then you must have NRI Certificate from your country’s Indian Embassy..
(2) if you made a WILL for your family & if they are beneficiaries in any properties on Indian Soil you must do Attestation of the Will in Indian Embassy then it will be Valid to transfer in their names..
(3) As a NRI person if you want to Buy/ sell any property in India without your presence over there then you must do POWER OF ATTORNEY & Attestation done by Indian Embassy.
(4) if you have Life Insurance from India & you live as a NRI you must do Attestation of the insurance policy in Indian Embassy then it will be valid for claim after your death.
(5) as a NRI when you die in your living country your relatives must take your death certificate for Attestation in Indian Embassy for any kind of legal transfer of properties/ bank accounts etc. In India.
(6) if you want to take dead body to India for funeral/ burial then you must get NOC for Transportation of mortal remains from Indian Embassy
Indian Government made this changes because before in past lots of people lost their properties/ banks accounts due to Corruption

If you are NRI but you are Indian Passport holder then above all will be Not effective to you
This is ONLY for NRI who hold other countries
